In 2017, with a fine group of women, grounded, finanzed and managed the project Plastic Free September in Iceland. We branded the project together and I based the logo and identity on that work. We published advertisements both digitally and in print and a website was made, but mostly we relayed on social media with a strong publishing plan with daily posts in september. We put a lot of energy into strong PR, we got articles published, organized interviews with a lot of major publications and organized events with great partners like the Environmental Agency of Iceland, Landvernd and the University of Iceland.
In short, it was a success, a lot of work and a lot of fun. People are waking up to the problems plastic pollution is in the world and are eager to learn ways to reduce plastic waste.
