Fermingarmyndataka Steinunnar fór fram í Víðistaðakirkju og í fimleikahúsi Bjarkar. Víðistaðakirkja er nokkuð dimm að innan og altaristafla Baltarsars dökk og dramatísk. Ég gerði því tilraunir með svolítið rokkaðar, allt af því goth-legar myndir eftir að ég hafði tekið þessar hefðbundnari portretmyndir sem ég byrja yfirleitt alltaf á. Deili hérna aðallega rokk og fimleikamyndunum – sem var líka mjög gaman að fá tækifæri til að taka í fyrsta sinn.

I photographed Steinunn on the occasion of her confirmation in Víðistaða-church and thereafter in the Björk gymnastic hall. Víðistaða-church is pretty dark inside and the huge altarpainting by Baltasar Samper is both dark and dramatic. I used the opportunity to shoot some ‘rockin’, even goth-like images after taking the more conventional portraits that I normally start with. Here I’m sharing mostly my favorites of the ‘rockin’ images and the gymnastics photos wich was also real fun first time experience.

Vinkona mín, Andrea Jóhanna Ólafsdóttir býður sig fram til forseta í ár. Ég mætti á fund 1. maí í Norræna húsinu þar sem hún tilkynnti um framboð sitt. Brjáluð vinna að vera í framboði greinilega og henni er að takast að hrista nokkuð upp í umræðunni. Ég get ekki neitað að ég hlakka til að fylgjast með framhaldinu. Hér á eftir fylgir mitt sjónarhorn frá fundinum.

My friend, Andrea Jóhanna Ólafsdóttir is running for president here in Iceland. I attented her meating on the 1st of may in Norræna húsið where she announced her candidacy. It seems like a lot of work running for president and she’s allready shaking things up. It will be interesting following up on the rest. Here follows my view on the meating.

With Glói & Fróði testing the Edge 80

Testing my new Edge 80 wich Lensbaby just sent me. I use the Composer Pro quite a lot so I was really excited to try the Edge 80 wich has more of a linear blur whereas the doubleglass I’ve been using with the Composer has a circular blur. I’m loving the Edge so far. Here are a few examples from today, as I was picking my boys up from school.
