A little bit about my background.

Bakgrunnur sóttur í hönnun við IH (1996-1997), mannfræði við HÍ (1998-2000), samtals um 8 ára starfsreynsla sem grafískur hönnuður bæði á stofu og sjálfstætt starfandi og nám í Mediengestaltung við Bauhaus listaháskólann í Weimar (2002 – 2007).

Aðalviðfangsefnin hafa verið ljósmyndun og grafísk hönnun (prent), en ég hef einnig daðrað við myndskreytingar, vídeó, innsetningar með hreyfiskynjurum og hreyfimyndir.

Ég er sjálfstætt starfandi, staðsett með börn og buru í Reykjavík og tek að mér ýmis verk, það má t.d. skoða kaflana Grafísk hönnun og Ljósmyndun, til að verða frekar einhvers vísari.

Ég er meðlimur í FÍT, félagi íslenskra teiknara.

Myndir mínar hafa verið seldar vítt og breitt innanlands og utan, m.a. til M-TV og Time Magazine. Hluti mynda minna er seldur í gegnum Getty images myndabankann og einungis hægt að kaupa myndleyfi af þeim myndum þar.

My background lies in various art and design courses, anthropology(1998-2000), studying Media Art and Design at the Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany(2002-2007) and in about 8 year work experience as a graphic designer both freelance and at an advertising agency.

My field of interests have mostly been in photography and graphic design (print), but I’ve also flirted with illustration, videos, installations with various sensorics and animations.

I live in Reykjavík, work as a freelancer and I am open for booking assignments. Take a look for example at the Graphic Design and Photography categories to see what kind of work I’ve been doing lately.

I’m a member of FÍT – the icelandic association of graphic designers and illustrators.
